Go (game) originated in China and is a profound traditional culture of our country. According to research, learning Go can cultivate children’s concentration, reasoning, adaptability and stress resistance, and can help them build noble morals and elegant temperament. Therefore , Hong Kong Child-rity Association and the Hong Kong Chess Academy jointly launched a project called ” HKCRA Children’s Go Popularization Program.

     This project is organized by the Hong Kong Child-rity Association, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Eastern District and cooperated by the Hong Kong Chess Academy. The project will subsidize grassroots children in schools to learn Go (game), so as to popularize the cultural tradition of Go (game) in the Hong Kong community. Children from disadvantaged groups will help to have more diversified development and establish positive growth values through the project .
