Hong Kong Child-Rity Association [Care and Education Programme] is a visitation service for female prisoner’s.

Each month, there is a visit to mothers and babies at Tai Lam and a visit to pregnant prisoner’s at Lo Wu Correctional Institution.

The visits include parent-child games, lessons on parenting knowledge, demonstrations of nursery rhymes and storytelling skills, prenatal exercises and sharing sessions.

Volunteers who are interested in participating need to attend our volunteer training prior to the service.

Volunteer training dates: February and July

(one of the weekends or two weekday evenings)

Service period: 2nd Sunday and 3rd Saturday of each month
